The Cure es mi banda preferida, claro está. Algunos podrán decir que son una tropa de pelucones que aun creen estar en los '80 y siempre a punto de suicidarse. Pero no. Es una de las mejores bandas del mundo, con una discografía increíble y que cada rato sorprenden con algo nuevo.

Robert Smith dijo una vez que nunca vendría a Sudamérica, que le parecían países subdesarrollados que no valían la pena visitar. Y bueno, qué le puedo decir, que es una lástima y que trataré de ir a verle yo antes de que muera.

Humberto me regaló para mi último cumpleaños un DVD con los mejores videos de Cure, y que no había visto hasta este fin de semana... aunque hayan pasado ya 5 meses. El asunto es que rescaté un tema que no había tomado nunca en cuenta. Cuya letra debería escuchar más seguido. Absolutamente.

Just Say Yes viene sólo en este recopilatorio un una versión remix fue incluida en la placa cuádruple de rarities y b-sides Join the Dots. El tema es interpretado por Smith, junto a la nigeriana Saffron, vocalista de la banda Republica. Hoy la escucho, y debería hacerlo más seguido. Les dejo el video acá.
